ApusNest is Now Affinsy — Our New Name, Same Mission

If you've been following us since the early days, you knew us as ApusNest. Today, we're proud to introduce our new identity: Affinsy.

Same team. Same product. Same mission to help e-commerce stores uncover hidden revenue in their sales data. Just a name that better represents who we are and where we're headed.

Why We Rebranded

When we launched ApusNest, we were a small team with a focused idea: use data science — specifically Market Basket Analysis — to help Shopify and WooCommerce store owners discover which products are genuinely bought together, not just the popular ones.

As we grew, a few things became clear:

  1. Our scope expanded. We started with MBA, then added RFM Customer Segmentation, Google Analytics integration, AI-powered strategic recommendations, and Semantic Segmentation. ApusNest was a name tied to our origin, not our future.

  2. "Affinsy" tells our story better. The name comes from affinity — the statistical measure at the heart of what we do. Every association rule, every customer segment, every product cluster is about finding genuine affinities hidden in your data. We find the connections that matter.

  3. Clarity matters. In conversations with store owners and agencies, we kept hearing the same thing: "What does ApusNest mean?" A name should communicate value instantly. Affinsy says data affinity and analytics in two syllables.

What Didn't Change

Everything that matters:

  • Your account — If you had an ApusNest account, it's the same account at affinsy.com. No action needed.
  • Your reports — All existing MBA and RFM reports are right where you left them.
  • Your integrations — Shopify, WooCommerce, and Google Analytics connections continue working seamlessly.
  • Your data — Nothing was migrated, moved, or touched. Same database, same security.
  • Pricing — The Architect plan is now $49/month (up from the $29 early-bird price). All existing subscribers are grandfathered at their original rate as long as they maintain an active subscription.
  • Our mission — We still believe every store owner deserves access to real data science, not simplified popularity contests.
